Players are formed in the mid 70s to Los Angeles from the meeting between Peter Beckett (formerly guitarist Skyband, British group) bassist Ronn Moss and JC Crowley. Achieved worldwide success in 1978 and finished well for 4 weeks on top of the top ten U.S. single with "Baby Come Back" leaving an indelible mark on pop history.
Ronn Moss, Star of television, film and music, plays the part of since 1987 Ridge Forrester the soap opera "Beautiful". Born in Los Angeles since his youth is attracted by rock and roll testing himself first with the drums, then guitar and finally with the electric bass. In 1976, Ronn joined by three musicians to form the band Player. Their work soon attracted the attention music impresario Robert Stigwood, who takes them under the label RSO Records by producing the records, "Player" and "Danger Zone". Peter Beckett is an English musician and songwriter who wrote songs for many artists in the foreground. Better known as singer and guitarist of the soft rock group Player, who scored a resounding success in the United States in 1977 with "Baby Come Back".
